Although no system is ever 100 percent protected, the ability for differentiating between typical network traffic as well as potentially harmful malware is considered crucial and provides the focus of this associate-level certification path. Also, if you wish to acquire this certification, you should gain the CCNP 300-910 Dumps, which are being offered at the ITCertDumps.
Hardly a month ago Cisco revised it’s CCNA Routing and Switching certification to CCNA v3.0. Two days ago they introduced CCIE Security v5.0. They already had a lot of certifications for different tracks and now they have added one more certification in the list. It is CCNA Cyber Ops and this certification will be available for testing in November 2016.

What is CCNA Cyber Ops?
CCNA Cyber Ops is a lot different from CCNA Security. The main aim of this certification is to help security professionals who work at Security Operation Centres (SOC) by giving them a better understanding of Cyber Threats. There is no proper information about the content of the test. All we know at this moment is that there are two exams to be taken to be a certified Cyber Ops Associate.
- 210-250 SECFND – Understanding Cisco Cybersecurity Fundamentals (SECFND)
- 210-255 SECOPS – Implementing Cisco Cyber security Operations (SECOPS)
Content to be covered in the exams are as follows,
For 210-250 SECFND:
1.0 Network Concepts | 12% |
2.0 Security Concepts | 17% |
3.0 Cryptography | 12% |
4.0 Host Based Analysis | 19% |

The process of becoming a networker isn’t considered for the faint-hearted. It requires lots of hard work and nice and trustworthy CCNP 300-915 Dumps, like that offered at the ITCertDumps, to clear this grueling exam.
What’s next? The big picture of CCNA Cyber Ops:
Keeping the network secure from cyber attackers is as important as securing it physically. With an estimated requirement of approximately two million cyber security professionals by 2020, Cisco aims to contribute as much as it can. This certification will surely help security analysts who work at Security Operations Centres (SOC) to monitor systems and detect attacks.
Cisco has also planned to invest up to $10M in next two years to attract more people into this field. Jeanne Beliveau-Dunn, vice president and general manager, Cisco Services, said:
“Cybersecurity is essential to digital success. Many CEOs across the globe tell us their ability to innovate is hampered by their security concerns in the digital world. This creates a big future demand for skill sets that don’t exist at scale today. We developed this scholarship program to help jump-start the development of new talent. This includes the opportunity to help diversify the IT security industry by reaching people around the world including veterans, women and those early in their careers, to inspire them to enter the cyber security profession. This is just a start to help us educate, train and reskill the job force to become the security IT professionals needed to help address this vast talent shortage.”
The Global Cyber Security Scholarship Program:
- To address the shortfall of security talent, Cisco will invest $10 million in a two-year Global Cyber Security Scholarship program to increase the pool of available talent with critical cyber security proficiency.
- Cisco will offer training, mentoring and certification that align with the Security Operations Centre Analyst industry job role.
- Cisco will deliver the program in partnership with key Cisco Authorized Learning Partners. This training is designed to address the critical skills deficit, providing on-the-job readiness needed to meet current and future challenges of network security.
We will keep you updated once the detailed content is introduced by CISCO.
